Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 March 2026
1. Introduction
SeekSignals ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the SeekSignals mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Wallet Address: When you connect your Solana wallet, we store your public wallet address locally on your device using Android DataStore. This is used solely to verify Seeker Genesis NFT ownership and confirm premium access.
- NFT Ownership Status: Whether your connected wallet holds a Seeker Genesis NFT is stored locally on your device.
- Premium Payment Status: A boolean flag indicating whether you have completed the 0.2 SOL premium payment is stored locally on your device.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- No analytics or tracking: SeekSignals does not use any analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or behavioural tracking tools.
- No crash reporting: We do not collect crash reports or diagnostic data from your device.
- No device identifiers: We do not collect device IDs, IMEI numbers, or advertising identifiers.
3. How We Use Your Information
The limited information we hold is used exclusively to:
- Display your connected wallet address within the App
- Verify Seeker Genesis NFT ownership to gate premium features
- Remember your premium access status between app sessions
We do not use your information for marketing, profiling, advertising, or any purpose beyond the above.
4. Data Storage
All user data is stored locally on your device only using Android DataStore (encrypted preferences). We do not operate any servers, databases, or cloud storage that holds your personal information. There is no SeekSignals backend server that receives or retains your wallet address or any personal data.
5. Blockchain Data
When you connect your wallet and make an on-chain payment, your wallet address and transaction details are recorded on the Solana blockchain. This is publicly visible by design — blockchain transactions are immutable and cannot be deleted. This data is controlled by the Solana network, not by SeekSignals.
The Helius RPC API is used to query NFT ownership. Your wallet address is sent to Helius's servers for this check. Please refer to Helius's privacy policy for details on how they handle API queries.
6. Third-Party Data Sharing
SeekSignals does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for commercial purposes. The App makes the following third-party API calls which may involve your device's IP address:
- Binance API — market data requests (no personal data sent)
- CoinGecko API — price data requests (no personal data sent)
- Twelve Data API — gold price data (no personal data sent)
- Groq API — AI analysis requests containing market data only (no personal data sent)
- Helius RPC — your public wallet address is sent for NFT ownership checks
- alternative.me API — Fear & Greed Index data (no personal data sent)
Each of these services is governed by their own privacy policies.
7. Push Notifications
If you grant notification permission, the App uses Android's WorkManager to run periodic background tasks that generate local push notifications. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external notification service, server, or push notification infrastructure.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you are aware that a minor has used the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. Your Rights
Since all personal data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can:
- Delete all App data by uninstalling the App or clearing App data in your device settings
- Disconnect your wallet at any time within the App, which clears stored wallet and premium data
- Revoke notification permission at any time through your device's notification settings
If you are based in the United Kingdom or European Union and have concerns about your data rights under UK GDPR or EU GDPR, please contact us. Given our minimal data collection approach, most GDPR rights are automatically satisfied by the local-only storage model.
10. Data Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the limited data stored locally on your device, including use of Android's encrypted DataStore. However, the security of your device is your responsibility. We strongly advise you to use device-level security (PIN, biometric lock) and to keep your wallet seed phrases secure and offline.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
12. Contact Us
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests relating to this Privacy Policy, please contact us through the Solana dApp Store listing page or through our official community channels. We will respond to enquiries as promptly as possible.
